This something new we are trying, book talks. Each day I will set down with a few kids and we'll just talk about what we are reading and why. This is team one; Iveliza, Shawn, Chaylen, Monique, and Cayden. Each student will also be asked to read a short passage from their book. Afterwards, I asked the kids what they thought of it, because they seemed pretty intimidated by the whole process at first, but in retrospect they all seemed to enjoy it.
